National Aboriginal Day 2018

All Day | This year, the National Aboriginal Day celebration powwow will be held on Fort William First Nation on Anemki Wajiw also known as Mount McKay. The theme is Honoring and Sharing Our History. Celebrations will include a Powwow, open air concert, community feast, artisans, and ceremony to honor Aboriginal contributions to shaping Canada as a country. National Aboriginal Day is held to nurture respect and understanding among community members.

2:30 PM to 4:30 PM | Customers who have prepaid for a Good Food Box can pick up their order at the County Park branch between 2:30 and 4:30. Please bring your own bags and your receipt.

6:00 PM to 9:00 PM | Students from the music school performing on guitar, keyboards, bass and drum set, vocals, song writing. Open to the public.
