Buck-A-Bag & Specialty Used Book Sale
Saturday, March 3, 2012
Victoriaville Mall, in front of the Friends Used Bookstore (near the Brodie Street entrance).
10 am - 3 pm
- Used books will be on sale for a buck-a-bag (small plastic grocery bag) - other bag sizes will be priced at $2 or more depending on the size.
- This sale will also feature a selection of specialty books priced from $3 to $10.
- Tables will be re-stocked throughout the day. Drop by for a great deal!
Friends of the Library activities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Bingos
- Used Bookstore at Victoriaville
- Home Delivery of Books to those unable to get to the library
- Special Events
- Telephoning
- Nevada ticket sales at Cathy's Discount Gift Centre on Red River Road
- Envelope Stuffing
- Recycling hard cover books
- Mall Displays/Trade Shows
- Raffles and Ticket Sales
- Committees
Bingos
The Friends of the Library belong to the Thunder Bay Community Bingo Association. They host a bingo approximately once per month at the CLE Auditorium. Upcoming Bingo dates are:
- Monday, February 13, 2012 - Matinee (Noon)
- Wednesday, March 7, 2012 - Evening (5 pm)
