The Mary J.L. Black Library and County Park branches are host sites for the Good Food Box program. Customers can order and pay for boxes (deadlines are noted below) at these branches. Pick-up of the Good Food Boxes will also be on the second last Thursday of the month between 2:30pm and 4:30pm at County Park and between 4pm and 7pm at Mary J.L. Black.
What is Thunder Bay Good Food Box?
A non-profit, volunteer powered program that distributes fruit and vegetables at a low cost to neighbourhoods around our city. Boxes vary from month to month but are always filled with a variety of quality fruits and vegetables. The program is intended for individuals with low or fixed incomes.
Boxes can be purchased using cash or debit.
Please bring bags for transporting your food.
