The Mary J.L. Black Library and County Park Community Hubs are host sites for the Good Food Box program. Customers can order and pay for boxes (deadlines are noted below) at these Community Hubs. Pick-up of the Good Food Boxes will be on the second last Thursday of the month between 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm at County Park and between 4 pm and 7 pm at Mary J.L. Black.
What is Thunder Bay Good Food Box?
A non-profit, volunteer powered program that distributes fruit and vegetables at a low cost to neighbourhoods around our city. Boxes vary from month to month but are always filled with a variety of quality fruits and vegetables. The program is intended for individuals with low or fixed incomes.
Boxes can be purchased using cash or debit.
Please bring bags for transporting your food.
