Meeting Rooms

Do you need a room for a meeting, display or performance?  We have a variety of rooms available for booking.  Everything you need to know about booking and using these rooms may be found below.  All Library locations have wifi. Room details:

External groups may request that a smudging ceremony accompany their library meeting space booking by calling the Director of Communities at 807-684-6813 or emailing comments@tbpl.ca. External requests must be made one week in advance of the event date. If the indoor designated smudging area is occupied or unavailable during the requested time, staff may recommend a designated outdoor smudging area. 

Brodie Story Hour Room

    • round table with four chairs
    • puppet stage not available for use
    • $10 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $20 for four to eight hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups

Brodie Study Room

    • round table with four chairs
    • two comfy side chairs
    • $10 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $20 for four to eight hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups

County Park Study Room

    • two square tables with eight chairs
    • $10 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $20 for four to seven hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups

Mary J.L. Black Community Program Room

    • large room with space for 75 chairs
    • PA / sound system, DVD, TV, VCR, video projection unit ($20 fee)
    • tech support is not available but you may schedule a test-run in advance of your event
    • 75 chairs and 9 tables available to set up yourself
    • coffee maker, tea pot, coffee urn, kettle, small fridge, microwave
    • groups must bring their own supplies (eg. coffee, tea bags)
    • flip chart, podium, large screen
    • puppet stage is not available for use
    • $50 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $100 for four to eight hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups and co-sponsored LIbrary programs

Mary J.L. Black Study Room

    • rectangular table with 8 chairs
    • $10 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $20 for four to eight hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups

Waverley Auditorium

    • large room with stage and space for 120 chairs
    • PA/sound system, DVD, TV, VCR, large screen, podium with microphone; video projection unit may be booked for $20
    • tech support is not available, but you may schedule a test-run in advance of your event
    • 120 chairs and 8 tables available to set up yourself
    • coffee maker, tea pot, small fridge, sink, washroom
    • groups must bring their own supplies (eg. coffee, tea bags)
    • puppet stage is not available for use
    • $50 for up to four hours, per booking (*)
    • $100 for four to eight hours, per booking (*)
    • no charge for non-profit groups and co-sponsored Library programs

(*) Note: The fees listed above provide guidelines for one-off rentals. Longer term rentals will be negotiated.
