Reading Buddies
Register beginning Tuesday April 2nd at 9:30am:
Reading Buddies is a weekly program for children grades 1-3 to help children build confidence and practice their reading skills. Children will be partnered with a volunteer/Buddy every week to read stories and play literacy based games.
What to Know
The next session of Reading Buddies will be taking place every Tuesday from April 16th to May 28th, 2024.
The program takes place in the Waverley Auditorium.
There are two different sessions that run on Tuesdays - one from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and another from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Participants and volunteers must register for one session or the other.
Please note that volunteers will not be teaching your child how to read, but building upon what they are already learning.
