Home Service

Home Service is available to Thunder Bay residents who are visually impaired and/or home-bound due to age, illness or disability.

How does it work?

The library provides a selection of materials tailored to your reading tastes. Once a month, a bag of library materials is delivered to your residence by a Friend of the Library volunteer, family member, or friend.

What can be borrowed?

Library materials that can be borrowed include:

  • regular print books
  • large print books
  • magazines
  • DVDs
  • graphic novels
  • audiobooks (in both CD and MP3 format)
