Attraction Passes
Explore attractions in and around Thunder Bay for free with your library card! Place passes on hold for pickup at your preferred library location with your card.
Passes can be checked out for one (1) week; due to high demand, renewals are not available. Some limitations may apply for use; please see the catalogue listing for each Pass for details. Pass users are subject to all attraction partners' rules and regulations.

Board Games
Our Board Game Collection can be found at the Waverley Resource Library. Games can be borrowed for three (3) weeks, can be renewed up to two (2) times, and can be returned to the main desk of any library location.
Garden Tools
The Thunder Bay Public Library and Roots Community Food Centre, opens a new window have partnered to create Canada's very first Garden Tool Lending Library just for you! Our Garden Tool Sheds are located at the Brodie Resource Library and the Waverley Resource Library and are available from May 1st to October 31st. Items borrowed from this collection are to be returned during opening hours to the location they were picked up from.
Tools may be borrowed for a one (1) week lending period. Tools can be renewed for two (2) subsequent lending periods of one (1) week as long as there are no holds on that tool.
Please return your tools cleaned and in the same condition you borrowed them. A fine of $5.00 per tool will apply to tools returned unclean. Subsequent fees will apply if tools are returned broken or damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
