A sequel to It Ends With Us, the book It Starts With Us is a work of fiction. I knew I had to read this after finishing the first book, so naturally, I ordered the second one two days later. The repercussions of choosing to end an abusive relationship is the main topic of this book. It also focuses on Atlas and Lily's future. It also displays their respective points of view on the past and the present. This novel will take you on yet another emotional roller coaster, akin to that of It Ends With Us.
I was engaged in reading it and didn't want to put it down since I was curious to find out what would happen next. While reading, I experienced a lot of affection. It made me chuckle a lot when I read it. I read with a big smile on my face. And even though the ending was quite obvious, I think it was necessary to write for all of the devoted readers of It Ends With Us. All the new characters were also such a great addition. Theo was such a remarkable person. Every time Atlas and Theo had a talk, I found myself captivated. Every time he made up a corny line to taunt Atlas, I burst out laughing. Just as much as I loved Lily for the same reason in It Starts With Us, I also greatly liked her bravery and character in It Ends With Us. She is a very remarkable woman of courage. Every time I read about Josh, Emerson, Rylee, Allysa, Marshall, Lily's mother, and the other characters, my affection for them grew.
Colleen Hoover has done it again. She once again wrote such an amazing book that collides with Lily's past and future. I definitely think that you need to read this book, especially is you read It Ends With Us.
