2.10 Modified Work/Return to Work

To direct TBPL to formulate a modified work/return to work process.

Covers all employees of TBPL.

The Thunder Bay Public Library provides a modified work program to ill and injured employees to reflect its commitment to initiate the earliest comprehensive effective intervention to facilitate the employee’s optimum early and safe return to work.

This program is to minimize the employee’s lost time from work for illness and injury, thereby reducing the amount of disruption of the employee’s life, their department’s function, and associated costs.
