Program
Step back in time and journey along The Road to London with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate the brilliance of Joseph Haydn’s iconic London Symphonies. Haydn’s journey to England inspired what are considered to be not only his finest symphonic works, but some of the most beloved of all symphonies from the classical era. Our cups runneth over as this special program showcases THREE of Haydn’s most adored works, all from the London period, each filled with charm, wit, and masterful orchestration. This concert offers a pure celebration of orchestral mastery. Join us for an evening of sparkling melodies, lively rhythms, and timeless elegance — a tribute to one of classical music’s greatest minds on his remarkable journey to London.
