The cure for the "I’m bored" winter blues is closer than you think. This March Break, the Library is hosting plenty of high energy fun, creative, and epic adventures for kids of all ages. Whether your child wants to dance like a star, race like a pro, or hunt for treasure, we have a week of free drop-in programming waiting for you.
Discovery Club

Pirate Party

Ahoy mateys! Sail on down to the County Park Library for a jaunty good time! Enjoy games, activities, and a craft all about pirates. Costumes ARGGGHH encouraged! Ages 4+
Danny GO! Dance Party

Watch Danny GO! videos on our big screen and dance along 'til you drop! Danny GO! is a musical “brain break” star watched in schools and daycares everywhere to get kids moving. We’ll follow along with the videos and do an activity and craft, too!

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this theatrical retelling of the classic fairytale Rumpelstiltskin. Stay for a craft and other festivities. Admission guaranteed to the first 200 people in the door. All ages.
Hip Hop in the North

Learn to write and produce your own hip hop music with songwriting and beat production specialist Nolan Schmerk (AKA Solomon) at weekly drop-in workshops where you’ll explore building beats, writing rhymes, sampling, deejaying, battling and more. Explore self-expression, and learn how to use the tools of the trade.
