For Parents and Children
During this time of anxiety and upheaval, the Library is trying to do everything that we can to support you and your children, especially when there are times or circumstances when children cannot visit the Library is person or people are self-isolating. Whether in person or online, we provide options for you and your child to engage with books and other media and to continue to learn and be inspired with creativity.
See below for some things which are available for your young ones, including a good article by Reading Rockets providing advice on supporting your child during COVID times.
- Library staff made a series of helpful video tutorials for how to access virtual resources or to use some of the great online resources we provide to persons with library cards.
- All locations are all currently open with new hours!
- If you do not have a mask we can provide one for you and we will also provide personal service to those who cannot wear a mask or are not comfortable entering the building if you call us ahead of your visit.
- In-house programs are returning in May!. Watch for that!
