2022 Donations and Grants
Inclusive and Accessible Collections Grant from Thunder Bay Community Foundation
We are grateful to the Thunder Bay Community Foundation for a grant for collections targeted at providing formats for various age ranges. As well as print materials such as Large Print books and graphic novels for youth, it also includes Beginner Readers or EZ Read E-books for children who are learning to read and increasing their reading fluency. E-Books from this grant are in CloudLibrary and can be found on a featured shelf. Thank you TBCF on behalf of emergent readers!
2021 Donations from Superior Shores Gaming Association
More eBooks and eAudiobooks were made available for your free use thanks to a generous donation from the Superior Shores Gaming Association to our Friends of the Thunder Bay Public Library. We thank the Superior Shores Gaming Association for its commitment to sharing revenue with non-profit agencies in our city. We used the funding to support the local author section of e-books, add titles in various genres from cozy mysteries to space opera, climate change books and more.
The titles were selected by Librarians based on patron suggestions and recommended lists and we hope that you find something to enjoy among the variety of fiction and non-fiction here. Check out these titles on cloudLibrary.
