NEW: You can now RENEW your eBooks -- here's how.
Click on the "download" button above to explore the Ontario Library Service Download Centre. From there you can browse, search for, sign out and download eBooks and eAudiobooks -- online, 24/7! You'll be prompted for you your Library Card number and PIN when you're ready to check out.
There are MANY different kinds of eBook readers. To check that yours is compatible with OverDrive please consult the Device Resource Centre.
Tip Sheets for specific eBook readers and devices:
- Android tablet or device (including KindleFire*, KoboVox and Arc, and the Nook)
- BlackBerry PlayBook
- iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone
- Kobo (including Aura, Touch, Glo, and original with the square button)
- Sony (older models)
- Sony PRS-T1 and PRS-T2
*Because it is a tablet, Kindle Fire will support Adobe Digital Editions and EPUB format. You can install the OverDrive Media Console App. However, the Kindle eBook format is not available to Canadian libraries. The Kindle eBook format is the only format compatible with Kindle eReaders without modern web browsers. OverDrive's Help page for Kindle Fire devices may be found here.
