Computers in the Library
Our computers are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis. We have an automated system called PC Booking that also enables you to reserve a library computer at any Library Branch. Instead of using sign-up sheets, you will sign-in using a username (your library card number) and a password (your PIN) from a PC.
TBPL also issues free "E-Service" cards to users who only want to use the computers. E-Service cards can be obtained at the circulation desk.
What's Available ?
- Internet access
- Wordprocessing software (Microsoft Office Word 2007 or OpenOffice Writer)
- Database resources through our Virtual Collection.
- Sessions are either 1 hour or 15 minutes (express stations)

*There is no charge for using a Library computer
Filtered Internet Stations
We provide users with the option of using either a filtered or an unfiltered internet station. Filtered machines are identified with a small sign on the monitor. Please be aware that no filter is 100% effective.
