Aboriginal Advisory Group

Join the Thunder Bay Public Library's Aboriginal Liaison Intern and the Aboriginal Advisory Group (AAG) members twice a month to discuss new and creative ways TBPL can better serve and meet the needs of the Indigenous community in Thunder Bay.

'Tis the Season for Storytelling - Join the Circle!

TBPL’s Aboriginal Liaison Intern and the Aboriginal Advisory Group are hosting a series of four storytelling circles to engage with and provide everyone with the opportunity to gain broader knowledge and understanding of the Anishnawbe people in our community. We are calling the Indigenous youth and Elders to the circle to share your knowledge and stories of the traditional ceremonies and practices of the Anishnawbe people through oral tradition.
